Subsequently, this reduces the need to completely remove your CPAP mask from your face in the middle of the night.

Also, the Elbow with Swivel directs the hose over the user's head to minimize tugging on the mask. Therefore, maintaining pressure without the worrying about losing the seal from your cushion.
